Re: Raw sensor access / CSI-2 receiver peripheral

Please start a new thread if you want more comprehensive debug of your particular application Thank you, I will create a new thread. You already gave me at lot of info how to debug, this will help me greatly! I think of creation raspiraw_noi2c fork, hope you will merge it into your mainline, let's ...

Re: Raw sensor access / CSI-2 receiver peripheral

You don't say what format your device is generating Currently RGB 24-bit. I can change this to any more suitable 16-bit format, including YUYV. My dream is to capture 1 frame, don't care about color correctness Taking callback() as the example, you'll see there is a clause if (dev->isp_ip) that the...

Re: Raw sensor access / CSI-2 receiver peripheral

Yes. rapsiraw is using i2c to detect which of the CSI2 devices that it knows about is connected, and then to configure those devices as most don't spontaneously stream data. If you only want to support a single device, then modify it to remove the probe and setup lumps, and hardcode your 640x480 re...

Re: Raw sensor access / CSI-2 receiver peripheral

I'm using Lattice Crosslink to convert my image sensor stream to MIPI CSI-2 D-PHY. Is it possible to capture such stream using raspiraw without I2C access? I do not need to configure any of parameters, just catch this stream 25 fps 640x480. I2C interface is not available on my board. Another boards ...

Re: Change resolution and transfer rate

You control what the camera sends to the GPU with the modes. How to do that through raspistill application? I am able to modify and recompile this application. Source code too complicated, it's hard to find that place. I thinking about to make independent I2C master and control sensor by my own han...

Change resolution and transfer rate

Is it possible to control actual resolution of camera image? There is need to set up 320x240. I see -w and -h options, but wonder - is this change actual number on lines and columns that being transferred from camera? Another problem - I need to set lower speed of transfer, to reduce it to 100-110 m...

Re: RPi CM 3 Lite - where is CD0_SCL/SDA pins on SO-DIMM?

I've just answered that question - https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=98&t=234485 Another question about camera port pinouts. Lets take a look at 15-pin FPC connector: 11 = CAM_GPIO, 12 - CAM_CLK. RPi CM I/O board schematic: 17 = IO0, 18 = IO1. DTS file: pin@p2 CAMERA 0 LED, pin@p3 ...

Re: RPi CM 3 Lite - where is CD0_SCL/SDA pins on SO-DIMM?

See update below... During read up of https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/hardware/computemodule/dt-blob-dualcam.dts I found that CAM0 and Camera 0 are different entities! Am I right? pin@p28 { function = "input"; termination = "pull_up"; }; // GPU WILL USE THIS PIN FOR CAMERA 1 I2C0 SDA pin@...

Re: Confused about the naming of CAM0 and CAM1

There are devices out there which can use all 4 lanes of CAM1 on the CM3 - the Auvidea B102 (HDMI to CSI2 bridge) is one of them Very interesting! Correct me If I wrong, heard that CSI-2 interface can be used for data transmission, not only video capture/output. Is this function supported on Raspbe...

In particular: https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/hardware/computemodule/cmio-camera.md Thank you for this link, but still experiencing problems. Actually I already have my custom PCB board and soldered lines GPIO28-GPIO31 to the corresponding lines of image sensor, all these lines goes thro...

RPi CM 3 Lite - where is CD0_SCL/SDA pins on SO-DIMM?

Hello! I have Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 Lite and I want to make my own motherboard with cameras support. I see D0P/N D1P/N CP/CN lines on the SO-DIMM connector schematics. Since RPi 1.0 board full schematics I see that all four lines CD0_SCL + CD0_SDA + CAM0_IO0 + CAM0_IO1 is absolutely necessar...

Boot from SPI Flash/DataFlash

Hello! :D First of all, I know about this: How does it boot? You have to boot from SD but a USB HD can “take over” after the initial boot. You cannot boot without an SD card. This is true, in case of Raspberry Pi we can't boot without SD card. For most users SD card is ideal boot source I think. I h...

Re: live camera

Try to use "nc.openbsd" or "nc.traditional" instead of plain "nc".

That helped me to overcome problem, it seems that some incompatibility here.
