I really like Roozbeh Hazrat's book, Mathematica: A Problem-Centered Approach. He works through small but interesting examples,to illustrate how to solve problems using Mathematica, like finding all perfect numbers up to 10,0000.

The Wolfram language and Mathematica are extremely cool. I have them on all three of my RPis. They're now included as part of the Raspbian distribution. If you have Raspbian and would like to install it, instructions are here.

I agree, they are really nice. My recollection is that they ran this offer once before, stopped it for new clients for a while, and then offered it again. I got in with the second wave.
