Re: Pi Zero W - No WiFi interfaces found

No Wireless Interfaces are found on a Rpi Zero W - If you can do anything at all with the internal wifi eg. on or off, this unlikely to apply. What happned- Installed 10.4.17 Jessie full from this site onto 16gb sd card and noticed fault as described above. (rinsed and repeated) same issue. Followed...

Smooth lines in 3d

I have a set of x,y, z coordinates and want to plot a smooth line through them rather than just straight lines between and cant seem to find how. Does anybody know if this is possible in Mathematica. Any advice on how I might accheive this using something other than Mathematica would also be appreci...

knarfboy wrote:Is it possible, in a new board Revision, to connect FM antenna port of BCM 43438 +3.3 volts?
Not possible. The pin out for the antenna is in the center of the CPU and has not been routed out to the PCB because no method could be found without increasing the number of PCB layers required.

Re: Cam Control

EDIT - FIXED Issue was with memory allocation split cpu/gpu : was set too low, must be at least 128Mb set aside for GPU Hi Nick, By any chance are you using a RPI v1 (256mb/512mb) device? A GPU memory split of 16MB works with the RPI v2 (1GB), this is what i used for testing the camera. Hi Dan - Us...

Hi fourdee, thanks for the fix but it seems that whilst the camera will take and save photo's the "Record Video Start" button is not functioning - its not greyed out but just never turns to Stop Video or saves any video. Not sure if Its me but did try to follow instructions (fresh install of V70 fro...

RPi Cam Web Interface - Install Perms Issue

Just wanted to add a note here to say that I had a problem with the install that was solved with changing permissions on /etc/rc.local During the install process I noticed an error: When asked - "Do you want to enable Auto Start (y/n)", replying "y" brought up; ./RPi_Cam_Web_Interface_Installer.sh: ...

Move holes

Just a wish - If the distance between the holes for the posts was altered slightly they would fit Lego dimensions. The distance between the holes is currently 58mm x 49 mm if this were to be changed to 56 x 48 mm they would line up to an 8mm grid which might prove useful to those who like their plas...

Re: Pi not answering on eth0 but OK on wlan0

I think the problem may be to do with your IP addressing being set up as two networks with no bridging between them - ie your pi knows about both networks but hasnt been told how to pass info between them.
This might help;

Re: Moving Power In Connector

Thanks Burngate your reply (looks to me as though it) answered my questions (both technical and philosophical) perfectly. One more question related to power which would remove the need for me to try and understand the schematics: Would applying power to PP2 connected to the 5v input, and PP5 to grou...

Moving Power In Connector

Hi I have a need to be able to feed power to a Raspberry Pi 2 from a socket that is on the same end as the USB/network ports. The intention is to have a custom case with an insulated microUSB socket sitting on the rear side of the PCB beneath the network port, with cables from this new microUSB port...

Getting RPi started at a Junior School

I have been following the RPi for some time and have bought a couple along the way. I recently visited my cousin who is the head teacher at a primary school in the poorer bit of Islington in London and picked up on a conversation that I had had with her some months ago. The gist of that conversation...

Re: The projects list. Look here for some ideas.

<t>I was struck by how many people have such a wide range of uses for the R.Pi and thought I would try and design a minimal case that might meet those diverse needs. What I eventually came up with was not a case but simply a board holder that held the board and made it easier to affix it to other th...
