Re: Backup & restore emmc with Win32DiskImager?

I had a problem with coping images with Win32DiskImager because of cheap USB cables, used a better one and it was all good.

Re: Potential HDMI licensing issue with compute module?

My use of the CM is a carrier board that takes the HDMI signals out of the CM pins that feed directly into a TFP401 DVI Receiver/Deserializer IC that then decodes and drives a standard 40pin LCD from that No where do I provide a HDMI connector or mention that the product uses/has HDMI. Texas Instrum...

Re: I2C-0 and CM3

I added that config, but it hasn't worked raspi-gpoio still has - GPIO 00: level=1 fsel=0 alt= func=INPUT GPIO 01: level=1 fsel=0 alt= func=INPUT ... GPIO 46: level=1 fsel=4 alt=0 func=SDA0 GPIO 47: level=1 fsel=4 alt=0 func=SCL0 and i2cdetect -y 0 shows devices at 1c and 43 which are not my devices

Re: I2C-0 and CM3

I have just flashed the image of a setup I had on a CM1 onto a new CM3, and the system that it goes in uses I2C-0 on GPIO 0-1 for an RTC and a battery management IC.

The old CM1 was setup and working, but I see that I2C-0 isn't working on the CM3 out of the box.

Is there a fix to get I2C-0 working?

Compute Module Projects

Just posting to share my compute module project, while I'm waiting for the CM3 to come. We built these small terminal like devices to use for data entry where these units are spread out over a large site. With Ethernet as the only cabling needed, the PCB is powered by POE, through a battery, then re...
