Re: More Zeros Wednesday

After receiving an email from Pi Hut that a small number are available at £16.00, I replied: "Thanks for notifying me of the availability of the Pi Zero, unfortunately I was away for a week the last time they were available and they all sold out. Now they are available again but only at £16.00, four...

Re: Compile libav (avconv) pi2

Hi Thanks for this. At: "git clone git://git.videolan.org/x264.git" I kept getting timed out, I found a fix that said use this instead: "git clone http://git.videolan.org/git/x264.git". That worked. However at: "wget http://mirrors.zerg.biz/alsa/lib/alsa-lib-1.0.25.tar.bz2" I'm getting the error: "R...

Re: Connect Model A to Model B via serial lines

I've been using a USB serial converter to connect my RPI2 B+ to my RPI A+ , both are runing Rapicams out in the field via Power over Internet adapters to the B+. This worked OK but I wanted more speed so I could transfer image data from the A+ back to my PC. I've tried Model A to Model B via serial ...

Re: Camera with cs mount and ir cut

I bought both a CS and an M14 IR cut out. I did not need either the CS or M14 lens screw fitting as I did not fit another lens. I used the existing Raspicam lens and put the IR cut out over it. Not ideal but it worked for me. If you want to put a CS lens on top of the IR cut out you will have to rem...

Re: Camera with cs mount and ir cut

I have not used the "cs mount raspberry camera" but would be interested in feedback as I want to be able to change the focus which is diifcult on the official pi camera. I have used the IR cut mount as shown and a smaller one which is hard to get but takes up less space and easier to get close to th...

Re: rpi2strap - Debian armhf

Thanks, I eventually got this to work but my SD card got corrupted. I tried again but could not get it to work. I've had another go after your recent update but I get: sudo python rpi2strap.py /dev/sdb Traceback (most recent call last): File "rpi2strap.py", line 111, in <module> main() File "rpi2str...

Re: rpi2strap - Debian armhf

I've tried this on a fat32 SD card on a usb card reader into jessie running on my RPI2. I added all the software you listed that is required. I ran "sudo python rpi2strap.py -h" and this tells my i must name the SD card SDX. I ran "blkid" and this identified the SD card as sda5. I ran "sudo python r...
