thanks!! I searched for those commands and found a page that had the solution to this!

Although it's meant for Ubuntu, but this solved the problem for the RPi as well!!

how do I make these settings in the terminal? Also, if I only set the group.user settings to the /www folder, would all the folders underneath it be given the view rights? Or would I have to add each folder with terminal to set them to a group/user each time I upload a folder via FTP? Would it be a ...

ok! Thanks! I figured out that my Raspberry-Pi was slow due to autostart of tightvnc on startup...

After that command, should I remove the file (vhusbdpin) from both /bin/ and /int.d/ folders?

Or would those files be removed automatically?

How can I undo the commands used to set the app on startup? You need to have internet or at least your local network set up before trying to connect to the RPi with RDP or SSH etc. In most cases it just works when you connect the network cable from the router to the RPi. Note that Windows remote desktop is disabled, (and can't be enabled), on any 'home' version of Windows. You can remote from a home version to a RPi or other computer, but not from RPi to Windows...... unless you have a professional version of Windows. I do have the Win7 Pro.... But haven't yet been...
