I've used pppconfig to setup the basic stuff for my connection. Then I had to manually edit the config files to add important configs. I've managed to set up a connection with the package 'pppconfig'. I'm using a debian distro for raspberry and it can be installed directly from the repository. This program makes it easy to configure ppp. Then you can use 'pon CONNECTION_NAME' to connect and 'poff' to disconnect. If you see a 'ppp0'...

Are those IDE/SATA dual-voltage power supplies stable when the raspberry or the peripherals consume current near 2A? Say the 12V motor will consume 2A, would the power supply still be able to supply 5V and 1A to the raspberry?

Has anyone tested it?
