Re: [SOLVED] wiringPi with ubuntu MATE for rpi2

Which version of Ubuntu-Mate are you using? Are you using 15.04? I keep getting this error when I install the following: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade sudo apt-get install python-pip sudo pip install RPi.GPIO This error pops up when I issue the last command "sudo pip install RPi.GPIO" err...

Re: Guzunty Pi. New users start here.

Hi Craig, Yes, Python will be able to do that. There is example code for other size cores, so it will be quite easy to provide an example for this one. I am traveling at the moment, so it will be the weekend before I can get to this. If you can't wait, have a look around the examples for the other ...

Re: Guzunty Pi. New users start here.

Guzunty, I am running the gz_25i core on your board that is connected to the raspberry pi and I was wondering if you had a good python spi program that I could run with this core? I am assuming I should be able to ground or put +5V on any of the input pins and with a spi python program (hopefully on...

Re: bluetooth controlled I/O board

Yes, I am interested in that very same thing. I want to be able to write python code on my PC, then download the code via bluetooth to the Raspberry Pi. Then the Pi executes the code. I currently have a bluetooth connection working between my PC and the Pi. Any ideas on what is my next step? The Scr...

Re: Fingerprint Scanner - RPi Device Compatibility

I didn't have a problem getting a Futronic FS88. So I am hoping there is python demonstration code available for the FS88 and the Raspberry Pi. Do you know of anyone who has gotten this scanner to work with the Pi?
