Re: C / C++ API for RPI Camera board??

Hi,

take a look at examples in source forge to learn how to write images

See easy example

int main(int argc, char **argv)
{
cv::Mat image;
raspicam::RaspiCam_Cv Camera;
Camera.grab();
Camera.retrieve ( image);
cv::imwrite("image.jpg",image);
}

Re: New version of Raspistill

Hi,

I am trying to set shutter speed in video, but it does not work. Does anyone has any idea how to do it?

Setting exposure in video mode

Hi everyone,

For some reason, I need to use video capture in OFF exposure mode. However, the video is completly black when using that option. This is not the case when using still images. Does anyone knows something about it??

Re: Streaming mjpg from Raspberry Cam

Hi guys,

I've just created a library in C++ for controlling the camera. You might be interested in it. Take a look at

Re: C / C++ API for RPI Camera board??

Hi,

well, the truth is that the library is at the moment working in video mode (so maximum resolution is 1280x960). However, you are right, the still mode is not covered by the library. I forgot :O

I'll work on in as soon as possible to add this capability :)

Thanks

Re: C / C++ API for RPI Camera board??

Hi, I also need a C++ wrapper for the camera with good control over the typical parameters(exposure,shutter, etc). There is too much stuff in raspivid and raspistill. I've also been working with cameras for a while so I would be glad to help. JoshLarson, could you put your code somewhere so that we ...
