XBMC intergration would be sweet. I would love to help via kickstarter but that amazon payment system they use hates me.
Is the distro based from rasbian? Have you seen my UltraSlim? This sounds like it would supersede my creation and be much better solution for the community. Awesome!

Looks amazing! Can't wait to get this into UltraSlim (2.0). You and Nil have done a wondeful job.

Openelec is it's own operating system, so no.
UltraSlim is in need of updating. Time permitting (Yes, real life sucks and I do have a full time job), I will likely begin work on 2.0 in the coming weeks. Thanks to this awesome community for keeping it going.

New XBMC Gotham (13) stable build link is now in post #1. Enjoy.
Note, I have not tested it. I only built it. But I am assumping all is well. Let me know if it doesn't boot or something. That's what backups are for.

My builds of XBMC do not include airplay (slim builds afterall). If you want airplay maybe try a different built? Do the nightlies have it?

XBMC 13 Gotham recently started requiring the libxslt package to run. If you don't already have it installed, here is how to do it: sudo apt-get install libxslt1.1 Repost (due to forum rollback) I got around to testing your latest gotham build. 1: Add roms to the correct folders
2: It just works. Windows should auto detect the share if on the same network, and you don't have some wierd firewall blocking it.

Look at modifying the "startup" script in home. Currently it loads emulationstation. on startup. But you could possibly have it load emulationstation, wait a few seconds, then load the xbmc script. could you include the Atari driver fix? http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=78&t=36564&start=25 Everytime rpi-update is ran, the mod would need done again (to the new source). So unfortunately, unless the raspian team adds it to the official source, it will not make it into UltraSlim....

Hi Taken Liking 1.6 already :) For anyone who's interested, for an easy upgrade, backup your roms folder over the samba share, and then just copy it onto the new image. Not 100% but if like me you are mainly watching vid's or playing arcade style games without saves, then it works just fine. Anyway...
