I use SSH,but I maybe should mention that it does load when using it direct.. but with SSH it does not not load,

I get the same line there to:

(WW) Warning, (EE) error, (NI) not implemented (??) Unknown.

Don´t know how to check the:/var/log/Xorg.0.log (Newbie).....
But it say on the prompt : (WW) Warning, (EE) error, (NI) not implemented (??) Unknown.

I get:Errors from xkbcomp are not fatal to the x server.

What´s wrong?

Been a while since I used the Rasbian and now I am trying to accees it with Putty from another computer,but I can´t remember the loggin words.Is there a way to find out what the words are? :oops:

mpd again..

mpd finds the musicdirectory but then i get " Failed to stat directory "/media/1Gb/CD AIFF": Permission denied"

Ok,it is a cheap generic 7 port hub,what can I do,open it (I am used to DIY soldering)and break the traces(the power traces) to the port going to the Pi?

But now there is another problem..when I unplugg the power plugg to the Pi it doesn´t stop it keeps going...it must be getting the power trhough the USB cable from the hubb,is this how it should be?I mean I have a bipolar PSU to power the Pi and the PSU to the hubb is switched.... :roll:

Yes,I have a powered USB hubb and I connected it to the disk and now its working to copy files with rasbian.

I installed the 3g but no difference. The HDD does have it´s own powersupply. From Windows I can read and write to the disk. I have another drive with it´s own powersupply,and from that the raspbian can read and copy OK. So I suspect theres sommething wrong with the cabinett or the drive,just seems ...

Rasbian not reading NTSF?

I have Raspbian and I have an External 3,5" cabbinet witha SATA disk that is full of Flac files,and when I try to copy one of the I get input/output error,I that an indication that it can´t read NTFS or what?

It´s a shame...I was hoping that the 1.2 verision would be able to play AIFF files,as the windows 1.2.verision can do that.
