Re: Prevent SD-Card Corruption

Thanks GSH Yeah, I think you've got the idea. It does not happen all then time. My pi refused to boot so I left it in the corner until reading this message. I again tried to boot and it worked a second time. I'll continue trying to reproduce the error to get more information, but I think it only hap...

Re: Prevent SD-Card Corruption

I'm still having the same problem when the power goes the sd card corrupts. The only fix I've found is to put the sd card into the laptop and run:- [email protected]:~/$ sudo fsck /dev/mmcblk0p2 [sudo] password for dallas: fsck from util-linux 2.20.1 e2fsck 1.42.5 (29-Jul-2012) /dev/mmcblk0p2: rec...

Re: How to reset the camera?

Did anyone figure out how to do this via the console or even better through the MMAL interface? Once my program has crashed, the camera locks up and I can't free it. The next call to mmal_component_create(MMAL_COMPONENT_DEFAULT_CAMERA, &camera); blocks and I can't do anything but reboot. Cheers, Dal...

Re: Preview buffer is only 64 bytes

I've figured out that it has something to do with the MMAL_ENCODING_OPAQUE. This only returns the headers, but there is zero documentation any where how to decode the opaque header. When I hex dump the data buffer, I can see the height and width, but no pointer to any other buffer. Cheers, Dallas. w...

Preview buffer is only 64 bytes

I'm trying to get the preview and video ports working, but the preview port returns buffers of only 64 bytes in length and I have no idea why. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance. // We use some GNU extensions (basename) #define _GNU_SOURCE #include <stdio.h> #include <stdlib.h> #include <string.h> #...
