Visual Demonstration of the QuickSort Algorithm

Hi, I'm not a teacher, but I was curious about whether a teacher has tried/would be interested in trying visual methods of introducing algorithms to their students. This video showing a visual demonstration of the QuickSort algorithm is one example, but I've seen other algorithms demonstrated visual...

Re: Connect Pi's serial to cisco router's AUX port

From the looks of it, they're all data pins (no power pins) so you're unlikely to damage your Cisco router. I'd suggest just giving it a go. Let us know how you get on.

Running mainline Linux kernel

I'm interested in putting together a very minimal Linux distro for hosting Xen VMs. It looks like there's a chance the mainline Linux kernel could offer support for RPi2 in the next few months: https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=Raspberry-Pi-2-For-Linux-4.5 Assuming the code mention...

Android on Raspberry Pi

Looks like the work to port Android to the Raspberry Pi is going well... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7HAACBmlRQ Just found that video (it was only uploaded a few days ago), thought some of you would be interested too. For comparison, here's a video showing Android performance about 10 months ag...

That's excellent, LXDE is a really good little distro  [taps foot]

Just to let you know, LXDE isn't a distro, it's a desktop environment. Judging by the background image on the login screen, the distro used was Debian.

Re: Raspberry Pi playing 1080p video and AirPlay

Both amazing videos, thank you for posting them. Definitely interested in using AirPlay. Are there any routers on the market that support custom firmware and AirPlay? Not really interested in getting a tablet, but if I could stream from a router I'd be willing to give it a go.

<t>Regarding the original question, I'm sure that the Raspberry Pi will be a success in terms of units sold.<br/> <br/> As for all this "There's X many hits on Google", some of you need to work on your Google Fu. The only sensible way to search for the total number of Raspberry Pi-related pages is t...
