Re: new installed raspbian from noobs v. 3.2.1 on rp 0 sudo apt-get update displays error

Therefore the wrong posting later on. sudo apt update, sudo apt upgrade. Now I got the right sd card, r...

Re: design of a generic raspberry pi 3 form factor open source notebook cabinet?

Such a design would do better to use the Compute Module. I do not agree. There are many more raspberry pi 3 form factor soc computers than core board form factor soc computers. Core board form factor computers appears to be more expensive. I am not sure the ports of core board form factor soc compu...

How accurate a number are you looking for?
How many millions?
Why do you need the datum?
I want to write Upton

design of a generic raspberry pi 3 form factor open source notebook cabinet?

There is the raspberry pi 3 and many soc arm computers having a similar form factor. https://www.armbian.com/download/ Has the raspberry pi company considered designing an universal notebook cabinet able to accept various arm soc computers? Either being a 7" or 10" notebook. If the design would be k...

Re: will the raspberry pi get free software cpu?

They use Broadcom ,because they know Broadcom. Many worked for Broadcom, some have patents related to Broadcom. Do raspberry pi officials have financial interests in broadcom? None of that needs 'free' and I doubt the majority of 20Million sales are worried about it either. Probably not. But some o...

will the raspberry pi get free software cpu?

Upton wanted to provide a low priced computer. Likely broadcom provided the lowest price and free software had to take a backseat. Now millions of raspberry pis have been sold. In terms of free software cf software you may use, share, modify and redistribute the raspberry pi is terrible because it w...

Re: is it correct the raspberry pi 0 has no spi headers?

Thank you. To clarify it is not about if there are pin headers on the rp 0. I have put them on the rp 0. It is about if the gpios are the same as them on the rp 2 and 3? I am asking because I want to install libreboot.org on a notebook. I asked minifree.org about how the wiring is done. The answer I...
