@XEON Which regulator did you use? I was planning on using a Pololu #799 regulated to 5.25V output to Pi.

Many forum discussions on this subject...you might start with this one. It discusses whether their was a design flaw in adding the polyfuse in the first place.

@rpdom That would be logical but I haven't yet :) Let me check...that would confirm the low power issue causing havoc.

@abishur honestly...I don't know much about the battery. I have used two. 1 - 13Ah - ripped out of a usb charging device similar to this one . I believe Chinese origin. Hak5 folks donated a couple to our cause. 2 - Tenergy Li-ion 18650 3.7V 6600 mAh @Mortimer good point. The charger uses a MCP73871 ...
