Best Audio ADC?

I need a good quality audio ADC, sampling at least 96kHz, for a project. in the end I've stuck with tightvnc on the pi as it seems a bit easier for me to run headless. Easier? - How? :) X11VNC has the advantage (and I don't know of any disadvantages BTW) is that you can plug a monitor into the RPi and see what is going on with your session whereas if you use TightVNCSer...
