AFAIK the only model you can buy now is the 512MB. 256MB modules are no longer used in production of the model B. Hope you get your Pi soon!.

Any news on how the USB driver is progressing?. I see the latest firmware commit has just updated to the dwc_otg driver to version 3.00 in kernel 3.2.27.

Have you done a firmware update?. Also if you look at the underside of your keyboard can you tell me what the power draw is rated at?. Anything over 100ma is likely going to give problems on the Pi USB ports.

I'll be keen to give links2 a go, I have been using elinks lately for command line web browsing however I find a lot of sites get formatted quite badly with links being wrongly placed in vertical columns etc.

I quite like the jed text editor. I find it works well, has great syntax highlighting and auto-indenting for C. It also does not take a month of learning keyboard shortcuts to be useful. It somewhat reminds me of the old DOS edit.

I just did a firmware update and tested with a Sandisk 4GB Ultra Class 6 (advertised read speed of 30MB/sec). Glad to hear you have your Pi. For the power supply you will ideally want something that is 5V/1A to make sure it will supply ample power to run the Pi. Most modern smartphone chargers are suitable. Good luck and happy hacking.

Have you considered the Efika MX Smarttop/Smartbook prducts?. They are made by Genesi and come with Ubuntu 10.04 by default. Freescale iMX515 800Mhz Cortex A8 powered. I have included a link below.
