High latency - random as heck!

Hi, I tried pinging other LAN computers and I am getting 1, 1, <1, 1. However, when I ping my Pi (running the latest OpenELEC XBMC), I am getting crazy numbers: 2ms, 482s, 25, 720. ^ What?! lol. So my movies are randomly freezing, sometimes just stopping altogether surely because of this. It's both ...

Re: RetroPi with berry boot !

I got it working fine now -- I forgot what I did .. Where is best place to upload this? Uploading to filedropper.com with 15mb upload speed, but i'm not sure how reliable this is. It's pretty big, like 2.5gb. You're welcome ;) I think this is the only place on the internet that has one working. I re...

Re: Berryboot v1.1 - Boot menu / OS installer

So much spam on this thread -- I looked through so many pages to see people just avoid the question completely and say "not recommended". Why even respond if you are not going to help the OP? How about "not recommended, BUT this is how assuming you understand which is probably the reason why you pos...

BerryBoot + Overclocking with Turbo

Hi, I have a few things on my berryboot: 1) Raspbian Wheezy Desktop 2) OpenElec XBMC media center 3) RetroPie gaming center Now, I am curious about overclocking with berryboot ... I am also a bit curious about the "new" turbo mode. a) Does berryboot take priority for overclock / raspi-config setting...

Re: Berryboot v1.1 - Boot menu / OS installer

thanks, instead for turbo mode? If you know what you are doing, you can edit config.txt manually. If not, do not overclock. Significantly increases risk of SD card corruption. and for expanding raspbian to fill my sd? Berryboot always formats the entire SD card during installation. So there is no s...

Media Center AND emulation ??

Hi, When I think "media center", I think games as well, not just movies. I want my Pi to run older emulated games AND a media center .. why can't I have both ? People seem to struggle using a XBMC build that successfully runs PiSnes (or whatever it's called). Does anyone know of a build that I can d...
