Re: Raspberry Pi 2 Compute Module?
the RPF simply cannot pre-announce a compute module revision 2, as their production/sales partners (element 14 & RS components) would sue them because the sales of the normal compute module would immediately stop! This is a market that prefers long term plans and buy more processor's/boards of ...

HDMI to analog DVI/VGA conversion (+audio?)
I and others have previously suggested adding VGA to the Raspberry Pi. There may however be more cost effective to have a good HDMI -> analog converter that do not require changes in the device design. HDMI -> analog converters are however both rare and expensive. In fact they are so expensive that ...

Re: Supported programming languages on RPi
Codeblocks will probably be a good choice for rapspi. Eclipse should work to but may be a bit to heavy. However it could be an excellent choice if you use cross compilation from a x86-based compile-farm.

This is naturally not an option for the first generation of the device.
However, once volume is sufficient to actually make CPU:s I suggest teaming up with the OpenRISC ASIC project in order to build a CPU that does not require binary blobs...

I have drooled a bit over Microsoft Mathematic/Math which i was unable to test as it refuse to run under Wine. It is basically a on-screen scientific calculator targeting students.
