Re: Jedi Knight?
it is rather annoying noone has made a linex port of jamp.exe even for a normal debian computer and the game doesn't run well under wine in some circumstances. also what did you split between gpu/cpu? I can't wait to get my hand on one of the new PI-2. did you disable EAX(?) advanced sound? does mul...

I can't wait to get my hand on one of the new PI-2. did you disable EAX(?) advanced sound? does multiplayer work? Open-JK? and does it utilize all the CPU cores? I have tried both Academy and Outcast on the Pi 2 now. Outcast runs at about 60 fps most of the time but it sometimes drops down to 20-30 ...

Re: Jedi Knight?
the link i gave you has the exe in it.
You make a folder on the PI and call it gamedata put the exe and the other stuff in the zip file
then inside gamedata you copy your games base (from your pc) there
I hope this makes sense

Re: Jedi Knight?
Note that to get good FPS run it with slight overclocking on a level without water and without sound turned on.
Still think we could get it to run better in console
can't wait till the guy getting it to run on pi gets the MP running

Re: Jedi Knight?
I checked my settings and i used gpu_mem=256. You definitely need to increase it from the default. I played with some "extreme" overclocking and got pretty decent framerates in Outcast until the Pi crashed and the SD was corrupted. Very encouraging.... now all we need is the multi-player ...

Re: Jedi Knight?
I had just updated my raspbian manually so it was a clean start i installed jedi academy and ran it. i did try overclocking it to the 2nd notch and that didn't help at all (at least not noticeably) . should i try giving the GPU more memory?

Re: Jedi Knight?
i got the game running, yes it lags quite a bit. we need to change some of the code so it will run more smoothly.
also everything is white i don't know it this is because i didn't copy a file over or it is a shader or texture issue.
Can't wait for this to run nicely on the pi!

Re: Jedi Knight?
Bump i am sure many people would love this game for the pi and there is a modding effort to make Jedi outcast playable with the Jedi knight Jedi academy engine so getting one to work would get the other to work
