battery powerd pi

Hey everybody I was hoping to turn my raspberry pi into a really small laptop but am having some trouble in getting a 5v battery. My old cellphone batterys are 3.7 and i was wondering if there was a way to kick up the voltage thanks for yalls help. 8-)

Hey friend I have heard in the past of people trying to get a pi to work without sd but I never looked into if they got it to work in theory it should be fine. Although you would have to get the system to checkout through the usb port and not the sd slot but that is about all i know to do. if you di...

hey friend i noticed that your using your ipad cable if you look closely at the tiny apple writing on the plugin side you will see the voltage labled. You need to have somewhere between 4 - 6 volts and 800 - 1500 ma's or .750 - 1.5 amps of power to not fry the raspberry pi and depending on the model...
