Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I didn't mean change the parameters, i meant edit the pipan.js file. My guess is you need to edit those hard-coded clip values. Everything checked, changed values in several places without any change in the servo movement. Still only a few degrees of beat. Deleted, reinstalled... copied... nothing ...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Someone in the group is using the interface to use Pan Tilt? The only problem I'm having is that the movements are only executed over about ten degrees by clicking on the arrows in the interface. On the other hand, if I order directly like for example this: http://192.168.2.159/pipan.php?pan=130&ti...

Jim,
I posted your video on the facebook page of our birding club !
No banded chickadees have ever been seen in the area (Montérégie, south of Montreal) .

Jim1961: https://elinux.org/RPi-Cam-Web-Interface The local club has more than 200 nesting boxes on the territory and participates in the https://ebird.org/home for the census of the broods. But we can't install 200 cameras... so I created a portable device called NIDcornifleur. It is equipped with ...

Re: Bird Box Camera - want to view via web browser

I read with interest your posts because I have several cameras installed in nesting boxes since years. The interface I use is Rpi Cam Web Interface which I appreciate because of its simplicity because these cameras are used by members of an important local birding club and their knowledge in this ma...

Pretty impressive. It gave me ideas, but I don't get that deep into programming. Thank you, Hermann, for taking the trouble to formulate all this information.

Re: raspcatbot

I will follow this tread with interest because, having completed the NIDcornifleur v.6 project, I was short of work. So I bought a Devastator tank, which I'm going to operate by wifi, that I want to equip with a pan-tilt camera. The goal is to inspect, in my place, the sanitary space under my house ...

Re: RPI zero W with NoIR camera

I've been using these leds https://www.buyapi.ca/product/bright-pi-bright-white-and-ir-camera-light-for-raspberry-pi/ on over a dozen systems for years. There's even an outside that's lit continuously in temperatures around -20. And these systems are mostly enclosed with 18650 batteries in a shrinkt...

Re: Mechanically weakest components of the Raspberry Pi electronics

Out of the dozens of PI purchased since the first version, the only problems I've experienced are the camera connectors because most of my uses require the presence of a camera. Moreover, if by misfortune the camera is unplugged while the PI is in operation, there is a strong chance that the camera ...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Thank you for your answer ras07. The purpose of the project is not to capture videos but simply to monitor the henhouse. During the day, the image is saturated and at night, despite an infrared lamp, the image is too dark. So ISO must be low by day and high by night. Unless there is another way, suc...
