rtl8188cus wifi module not working properly

Hello, guys. I have a rtl8188cus chipset wifi module which I bought a month ago. I can't seem to get it to work with my pi. Using lsusb shows "Realtek Semicondutor Corp." along with my other usb stuff. Problem is, wpa-gui does not want to recoginse it. I don't thinks it's a power issue because my po...

Issues with lsusb and wifi dongle

Hey, tried to setup a generic wifi dongle with the rtl8188cus chipset. I did an apt-get update beforehand but when I try to execute lsusb it gives me an illegal instruction error, does anyone know what might be the cause of this and what I can do to fix it?
Thanks.

There might be a few root scripts you could use. If jodin is open source perhaps someone could port it to raspi?

Openarena multiplayer

Why does open arena crash when I try to play on a server from the multiplayer list? Is this fixable? Single player is fun but gets boring after a while. And yes, I read the description in the Pi Store.

Thanks, :D

Assault Cube on the Pi

Ive seen other posts on this before and they always say that Cube and Assault Cube is too laggy to be playable but I found this on youtube and it seem to run fine.

Is there somewhere I can download the source and get it to run this smoothly?
Thanks, :D

Could this work on the Pi? Mine isn't operational at the moment so I can't test and compile. If it worked it would be pretty cool.

Re: PSP emulator on the pi?

Well, I read on their site that linux builds have been broken since version 7 somthing so that might be your GLES issue. I the pi is plenty powerful enough. My Samsung Repelish can emulate most games to the point that its playable.
