I2C addresses are 7 bits. The eighth bit in the "addressing byte" specifies read/write. This read/write bit is the lowest bit. Now, some people say that the address is "0xC0" and that to read you need to send "0xC1". They mention the WHOLE byte, not just the top 7 bits representing the address. It ...
