Re: Getting the most out of your V2 camera with UV4L.

That's exactly what I thought, as I'm used to coding in C/C++ but for some of the options mentioned above it does not seem to make any difference, which I thought was odd, and thought I should mention. note that not every commented out option in the config file has necessarily the same value as the...

I ran into a weird situation where my IceConnection always gets disconnected after 17 seconds, religiously. the logs show that onIceConnectionChange() is called with iceConnectionState = DISCONNECTED. this never happened with the javascript client (which doesn't handle this state change). Where does UV4L list the copyright information for the Broadcom/Raspberry Pi code that it incorporates?
Which code? There is no code copyrighted by Broadcom or Raspberry Pi "incorporated" in the UV4L packages or binaries.

The simplest signaling protocol supported by UV4L can be found in the "signalling.js" file from the uv4l-demos package (also used this tutorial based on JavaScript https://www.linux-projects.org/uv4l/tutorials/custom-webapp-with-face-detection/ ) Just to make sure, in order to connect between the r...

Just a simple java application for android. An activity with a view that can display the video stream form the raspberry pi. Once this works, i will optionally add support for recording and push-to-talk button (unidirectional, from the phone to the rpi) These are good starting points: https://webrt...

Hi !
I want to implement an android app that can connect with the uv4l-WebRTC extension.
What application do you have in mind, a web application that you can run in the Android browser or a "native" WebRTC application (e.g. in C++ / Qt)?

Thanks for this guide, I can share PC Camera's video to RPI using UV4L. But how can I share PC's screen to PRI? I cannot select "screen" from the webrtc page of Firefox or Chrome browser. I didn't use SSL so far, is it necessary to use SSL for screen sharing? You have to follow the instructions abo...

black? You might need to skip the first frames? Check if you get any video from the streaming server web page in the first place.

Set the memory split to 128M in raspi-config and retry to see if it still hangs. With audio processing it takes more CPU, that's expected.

Yes I'm going to the WebRTC page:

https://192.168.0.101:8080/stream/webrtc
then there is a checkbox to force the use of the H264 hardware encoder which should keep the CPU load at minimum.
