Re: PPTP and HostAPD on my PiFi

For the sake of completeness, this iptables config worked for me: iptables -P FORWARD ACCEPT iptables -P OUTPUT ACCEPT iptables -P INPUT ACCEPT iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -s 192.168.42.0/24 -o ppp0 -j MASQUERADE iptables -I FORWARD -p tcp --tcp-flags SYN,RST SYN -j TCPMSS --clamp-mss-to-pmtu (P....

Re: Animated GIF on Framebuffer

I seem to have found a solution to this problem accidentally. (Qt) So, QT doesn't actually need X or Wayland to run on Raspberry Pi, which is awesome! QT also supports GIFs out of the box! What I did: 1. Installed QT binaries from http://twolife.be/raspbian/ (make sure you have qtquick1-qml-plugins ...

Re: Qt5+QtWebkit issues

Hi, this is a sort a "missconception" in eglfs platform, I suppose. You can try this patch : https://github.com/prabindh/qt-configs/blob/master/qt5_1_1_Sep13/qeglfswindow.cpp.patch1 It works but has some sideeffects. Apologies, but I have no idea how to use that patch (I was using prebuilt qt binar...

Qt5+QtWebkit issues

Hi, I'm trying to get a QtWebKit application to launch on my Raspberry Pi (without using X). I found an application called mlbrowser https://github.com/Topguy/mlbrowser and compiled it fine. When I run it, I get: pi@raspberrypi ~/mlbrowser/build $ ./mlbrowser -platform eglfs http://google.com EGLFS:...

Animated GIF on Framebuffer

Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to play an animated gif (and loop it preferably) on the framebuffer? The closest I have is being able to use mplayer, however it blanks the screen while it loops which makes the output look horrid. Thanks, Joe :) P.S Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place

PPTP and HostAPD on my PiFi

Hi, I'm using my new Raspberry Pi to create a WiFi network where I can access internet from my halls, The only problem is my uni require you to connect to a PPTP VPN to access the internet. Currently that connection works on the Pi and I can download webpages on the Pi. Also I can connect to a WiFi ...

Load with running a Wifi AP

Hi, I've been looking for a project where I could use a Raspberry Pi and I think a Wifi AP would be a great option considering my circumstances in September (Uni etc), I found http://learn.adafruit.com/setting-up-a-raspberry-pi-as-a-wifi-access-point/overview which should allow me to make the Pi int...

Re: 2.8" TFT + Touch Shield Board

Hey, I was wondering if you may do these in a month or two? (I don't have the money right now)

Joe :)
