Raspberry pi camera and sound card

Hello there, I'm trying to make a program that can capture video fom camera and audio from USB (or wolfson, that would be nice) sound card. What I'm trying to accomplish in this program is that when video and sound is captured, the output file is .mp4 extension (or some other, like .ogv), with video...

Re: DVD screen

Well, I used TW8811 (don't ask me how I got it) as RCA input and analog out. But, there was big noise in picture, and poor quality. Now, I'm going to use HDMI/DisplayPort converter that I ordered from Texas Instruments (I'm using it for displaying picture on LCD with digital parallel interface), and...

Re: Need help getting these LCD's to work.

Good day,

This is entire Altium project for HDMI-PanelPort converter.

http://www.4shared.com/archive/_462F41o/DVI-LVDS.html

It can be viewed with Altium viewer, if you don't have Altium Designer.

It has not been tested for now, so I can say that this will probably work. :D

Re: DNS server set-up

At my raspberry, sometimes in resolv.conf at field nameserver is 192.168.1.2, and with my network configuration it needs to be 192.168.1.1. I changed that, now everything works perfectly. :) You just need to write there IP address of your router. If this doesn't work, try with google DNS servers (8....

Re: Need help getting these LCD's to work.

I made schematics for HDMI to DisplayPort LCD converter. It can be found here: http://www.4shared.com/office/SrDEalw4/DVI-LVDS.html . PCB is in progress, because I want to keep it simple. :) And, I didn't include inverter for right now. I will do that later, after I finish PCB with this schematics. ...

Re: nokia 5800 display

Ok, I'm back. After few days of searching, discussion with my colleagues and viewing all datasheets I could find for LCD controllers and datasheet of BCM2835, I can say only one thing. LoSSi is actually I2C standard. I2C standard multimaster serial single-ended bus, which is made by Philips back in ...

Re: Pirateye

It may be possible, with HDMI/VGA converter, which is relatively expensive. But it's simple after that. You need a battery, and few other peripherals, like USB hub and some kind of keyboard and mouse, and a WiFi dongle.

Well, I can't right now tell if this one is compatibile or not. I can only tell that this one i VGA controller, which can't be connected to Raspberry (It can be connected through RCA connector, but you need RCA to VGA converter). I found one DVI/HDMI-PanelBus chip, it's TFP403, made by Texas Instrum...

chairsgotoschool wrote:the soc chip says APM51231 (or APM5123.1) and below that 1246TDZ
I couldn't find datasheet for that SOC chip. Bus, as I can see, Flex PCB on LCD is same as DrDeath have on his LCD.
So, we need to wait for DrDeath to shows up to us connections of his device for pinout, then we'll see what we can do.

Re: LCD screen how to connect it

Thank you. :)

It's our technology, bitch? Hahahahaha :D :D :D

Ok, your screen have 40 pins on it's connector. I think it's interface is parallel RGB.
Can you write here markings of SOC chip (U101)? And markings of LCD module would be nice. :)

Thanks.

Re: LCD screen how to connect it

As I can see, and with searching through ATJ2259C SOC datasheet, it seems that your LCD uses parallel RGB interface. But, I couldn't find LCD datasheet, only images, so I don't know pinout. But you can check with ohm meter, of you have one. Simply connect one test probe to one of LCD connector leads...

I foud datasheet for SHARP. And, unfortunately, there was a misspeling at distributor's site, about type of your LCD.
