I had similar problems with the Sky Q hub and it was to do with the dual band. I separated the dual bands, giving them separate SSIDs and then the pi3 connected fine to the 2.4GHz band.

Try removing the volumealsa plugin from the panel and restarting the panel. Thanks. How would I do that? I agree that the window lag is very noticeable since the upgrade to pixel. I'm using a pi 3 with a new image: moving a window of any reasonable size is very, very laggy. Never used to be, before pixel.

Moving windows in PIXEL

Hi

I have a fresh installation of the new Raspbian/Pixel running on a Pi3.

I have noticed that if I try to move the position of any windows, it does not keep up with the mouse movement. I had not noticed this behaviour before. Seems to be worse the bigger the window is.

This might not be connected at all .... But my Pi2 with an Edimax dongle works brilliantly all over the house. When I got my Pi3 it was struggling to connect to the (Sky) router only a metre or so away. I went into my router settings and changed the wifi channel number to 'auto' and now my Pi3 works...

Yes I forgot to put the name of the share as stated by JimmyN. It should work if you add that. Also you can wait for the network to be ready during boot by selecting the appropriate setting in raspi-config.

I just installed the new version of Jessie and enabled the new OpenGL driver. I was pleased to see that Stella is now working again at full speed when in the default small window but if I go to full screen it is horrendously slow. OpenGL is selected in the settings.

Any ideas anyone?

I noted that in the recent Raspbian Jessie image, the rasp-config utility has the option to have the Pi boot process wait for network.
This works really well, and worth a try.
