Thank you very much. I have been searching for this kind of information for quite a while. I still had a Slice Of Radio and a Temperature Sensor lying around and wanted to put them to good use. Now, it seems, I can just do that.

Yup, Version 1.9 is available since the beginning of this year. Works like a charm. Easily available through apt-get update && apt-get upgrade.
