Re: how to add a HD DOCK on my raspberry pi 3b+ :)

What type of filesystem is on the HDD? If it's NTFS then you need to install ntfs-3g to access it as read/write.

I mean don't change /etc/dhcpcd.conf from the version supplied when you installed Raspbian Stretch first time.

I found I could only force a full scale rescan by deleting the /var/lib/hts/.hts and all of it's contents then reconfiguring tvheadend with dpkg-reconfigure tvheadend

Add this auto eth0 iface eth0 inet static address 192.168.3.14 netmask 24 gateway 192.168.3.254 to /etc/network/interfaces [change numbers to suit your network]. Leave /etc/dhcpcd.conf alone. That's just about guaranteed to get a static and a DHCP address assigned to your eth0 interface.

fccgiwrap uses a AF_UNIX socket. Your set-up uses a AF_INET socket. For comms between processes on the same Linux system an AF_UNIX socket has a lower CPU cost. The stuff I've got works for both Perl & PHP. location ~ \.pl|cgi$ { try_files $uri =404; gzip off; fastcgi_pass unix:/var/run/fcgiwrap.soc...

What's the filesystem on your USB device? If it's FAT, VFAT, eXFAT or NTFS then the permissions (and umask) are set on the mount command.

Hi guys! So just an update, this appears to be a power supply issue. I was able to follow the video bellow and learned the correct way to bring in the 5v directly to the relay board. When I run the python script all 8 channels and LEDs work as expected. Now, I just have to figure out how to make th...

Anyone know of a remote control that will work with this?
There's no support on the board for any remote. So anything you add is going to need extra hardware.
