Only if its been enabled, currently a2ensite only creates that link, there is no guarantee that will be the case in the future. The two directories are there for a reason, unless you know another reason? One holds the configuration files. The other holds the symbolic links to the active configurati...

To solve the problem, we need to know why pcmanfm is unstable, because that should not be the case. Bad SD card? Bad power?
You missed a reason. "Software that's unfit for purpose".

You shouldn't edit in the sites-enabled folder, you should edit the /etc/apache2/sites-available/xxx.conf files
Balderdash and poppycock.

It's a symbolic link from the enabled to the available configs so your editor will automagically edit the correct file.

Re: What is / are current prefix tools for my OS ?

If you're compiling on a RPi to run on a RPi then you don't need anything special.

Use
gcc -o programname myprogramsource.c
to compile it.

Use
./programname
to run it.

You really need to post this on the Ubuntu forums at: https://ubuntuforums.org/ or Ubuntu Stack Exchange at: https://askubuntu.com/ because otherwise nobody who can fix this will see this.

Re: Raspberry Pi Stopped Booting out of the blue

So shall I get another SD card and move everything over to that using Windows File Explorer? Is it that simple and will I lose any data that was on the SD Card by doing this? Windows can't read a Linux SDCard, think again. Get a new SDCard, get a bootable copy of RaspiOS Buster on the new SDCard. G...

It's easy to poke fun because of the C5 and his unridable electric bike ... Part of the problem with the C5 came about because of the Road Traffic Act. That's the piece of legislation that says anything over 15MPH makes you a motorised vehicle (not a power assisted bike) and means you require a hel...

I don't think I'd have spent 40 years working on mainframe systems without the kickstart from building a ZX80 kit with my twin brother. Also, no Jessie, but maintain a couple Pi3 w/Stretch. Simply because Buster is a nogo.
That's unadulterated FUD.
A regularly updated Buster system is exceedingly stable - most of the code in it is two years old.

What's stopping you upgrading to RaspiOS 32-bit Buster? You can add a BMP280 to Jessie if you don't need the kernel IIO driver for it. Running it o...

I'm still fascinated that the Pi can do this by default, but that not one of my other computers has this feature enabled ! You can disable CEC with a line in /boot/config.txt to stop the boot up action. hdmi_ignore_cec_init=1 Or hdmi_ignore_cec=1 To completely disable the CEC function. Docs here: h...

Since the very first model until now, I must have bought about 50 RPI of all series and I treat them all the same way, that is to say quite hard.
But curiously, the ones that fail are PI3s!!!
The fundamental flaw with the RPi3 was the flaky PMIC, sneeze near it and it throws its toys.

FTFY.

Chipmaggedon is affecting world wide production and delivery. Not just in the US of A.
