Re: Remote development on RPi

Re: Remote development on RPi

Hey. I just gave this a try, it looks great but I keep getting a ClassNotFoundException I can't figure out. java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: remotevmtest.GpioExample at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:366) at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:355) at java.security....

Re: Installing RPi.GPIO

Just to note that I did get it working. No idea why I couldn't download it using apt-get but never mind.

I grabbed a tar.gz of RPi.GPIO from the Python website and just transferred that to my Pi. Had to install gcc to get the install script to work but once it did all was well.

Thanks.

Re: Installing RPi.GPIO

Yes I have done an update but Doug's answer makes sense to me so I'll try one or both of those.

I can get the PiGlow working on a Raspbian install quite easily but I can't install RPi.GPIO when using Raspbmc. When trying to do: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get -y install python-rpi.g...

Re: Looking for a slightly more packed BerryClip type board

Hey, thanks Texy. I would love to design my own board, but for now I'd like to go with something I can just buy so I can get right to work making a few little projects I have in mind.. That's why I need three buttons. Getting into electronics proper will just have to wait a little while until I can ...

Looking for a slightly more packed BerryClip type board

Greetings all. I'm quite new to Pi with a programming background. I'm looking for an addon board with a few physical things on that I can use. I require. 1) Different coloured LEDs. 2) Buzzer 3) 3+ Buttons The BerryClip would be ideal, I like the varied LED colours and buzzer (and price) but I'd nee...
