Re: Logitech Wireless keyboard with touchpad k400 plus

Hi,

Not too sure what you mean by the F 'numbers' but if you are referring to the function keys you must press the function key and the FN key (bottom row 2nd key from left) together, at least that works for me.

Re: ubuntu 20.04 ubuntu-desktop dual hdmi output

Hi,
Try adding dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d to /boot/firmware/usercfg.txt followed by a reboot.
After I applied this to my system both screens became active.

Re: Issues with the K400 keyboard

Please ignore my comments reference not needing to pair - I was not aware that if the keyboard was paired with another dongle it lost is pairing with the original but as a result of HawaiianPi's reply I decided to consult the Logitech guidance and now am much enlightened. Sorry if I caused confusion...

Re: Issues with the K400 keyboard

The power adapter that you are using should be O.K. as it is capable of supplying 2.5amps which meets the 3b+ spec. I have just set up my 3b+ to use the K400r keyboard (was on my rpi4) and it works without any problems using a 2.5amp supply. Do you have anything else plugged into the USB sockets? Ca...

Re: Issues with the K400 keyboard

I have 3 slightly different K400s - K400r, K400+ and K400 plus and all work on Pis models 0 to 4. None of those models use Bluetooth they are all USB wireless. All have worked out of the box after plugging in the dongle without any additional software on the Pis. I have never tried NOOBS I have alwa...

Re: Raspberry Pi Zero DOA?

My experience shows that, unlike other Pi models, if the SD card is not inserted and correctly seated there is no light on.
It's worth a check.

Re: Video Jukebox - Is it Possible?

How about a different approach. Utilise a PI Zero as the 'selection' system with a touch screen display. (or any other model - just zero is cheaper) Utilise a Pi (x) as the back end system driving the player software and using its HDMI output for the display. Use serial or ethernet connection to lin...

Re: WI-FI on RPi Zero

It is possible that you have not set a DNS Server address. In the example below I have used the Google servers but you can use those supplied by your ISP. Please note that I have used the Interface & wlan0 option but you could use the SSID, the entries for both are the same. You just need to replace...

Re: can't install fpc and lazarus on raspberypi

Was this on a B+ or the new Pi 2? I encountered the same problem on a B+ and the fix, I am happy to say, worked. However I tried the same fix on a Pi 2 and I could not get it to work (possibly finger trouble as I am new to Linux based systems) I then decided to upgrade to jessie and see if Fpc and L...

Re: free pascal / lazarus

Re: LAZARUS 1.0.6 EASY INSTALL FOR RASPBIAN WHEEZY. Zog - I have just got round to using FPC/Lazarus. I used Turbo Pascal many moons ago - even had version 1 and probably still do have it somewhere, also dabbled with the ealy versions of Delpi before moving to VB. I installed via apt-get FPC and Laz...
