Re: Installing LIBCEC on Wheezy (tested on a Samsung TV)

I just want to add that you need all your libraries set in /opt/vc Check if there is an include and lib folder in /opt/vc. If there isn't one download the raspberry firmware master repos: https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware Copy the opt/vc folder from this repos to your own /opt/vc folder and th...

Re: TFT01-2.2S with notro's fbtft module

Lol, If you edit the /etc/retroarch file and adjust the line

Code: Select all

# video_smooth = true
to

Code: Select all

video_smooth = false
It works!!! Woot, I finally got some emulators running on my tiny screen.

Re: TFT01-2.2S with notro's fbtft module

Ok I'm going to write some very interesting stuff you could do with this driver of notro... I should actually write a blog about this but I'm to lazy... After some days of intense searching trough pages and pages of information I've managed to do this so far: Working remote is a must have. If you ha...

Re: TFT01-2.2S with notro's fbtft module

Hey guys, After some searching I've copied all the ko files to my '/lib/modules/$(uname -r)/kernel/drivers/video/fbtft/'. Now I load tbtft with 'modprobe tbtft' and then I needed to insert the fb_ili9341.ko manually from the kernel folder. If I didn't do that my display wouldn't even turn itself on....

Re: TFT01-2.2S with notro's fbtft module

Dutch_Master, I haven't got this working yet.

Notro, I found the fb_ili9341 driver in your master folder of your git repository. Can I use this driver and build it with your tutorial?

Thnx for the help,

Regards

Re: TFT01-2.2S with notro's fbtft module

Thanx Notro, I can wait a week or two, not a problem at all, although I'm interested in building it myself.

I'm going to do some investigation in the meantime. I can only learn from it.

Thanx again mate,

Regards

Re: Bit-bangind a TSOP-48 NAND Flash with the RPi

Hey Sizco Nope, my nand is not detected. Nor my xbox nand nor my usb nand. Maybe I've connected something wrong but I don't think so. Could also be that my 360clip is broken. I should learn how to etch smd. Could someone confirm me that my wiring that I posted above is correct? Thnx Regards Xump
