Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Ah yes I had something similar - have you changed the image resolution in /etc/raspimjpeg?
image_width 2592
image_height 1944
jarrah31
I reviewed the raspimijpeg file, and it is already set to that.

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

One way to be sure is copy the contents of pipan.php to notepad first, then copy from notepad into the text editor on your pi. I have edited this many times and many ways. What finally worked was adding some blank lines not shown here and making sure it was 854 bytes. Yay! Success. :D Pan n' tilt w...

Ok let's try something without the website buttons.

Do either of these methods work for you?
The first method worked.

The second did not. Just takes me to a blank page.( without the<>)(with <>) says server not found.

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

jarrah31,

Code: Select all

python /home/pi/pipan/pipan_pipe.py &
No errors after running this.

Just to clarify, I still have no control of the pipan from the webpage.

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

jarrah31, thank you for posting the directories.

This allowed me to compare yours to mine.

I don't see anything different except some of the files mentioned are couple of bytes off.

The pipan buttons are there and I can click on them, but nothing happens.

I am at a total lost. :( :( :(

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

2nd attempt:
I loaded a new 4gb sd card with rasbian and updated.
Installed RPi Cam Web Interface
Then I install pipan with a pilight.
My webpage works fine for everything except the pipan and pilight buttons.
Any idea's.
Pipan and pilight tested good with the included demo files.
Thanks

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Sorry, I don't have a pi-pan, though, to re-create the FIFO pipe please proceed as follows: sudo mknod /var/www/FIFO p sudo chmod 666 /var/www/FIFO [/quote] Okay, no more errors. Thank You. Now I can access the camera, but the pi-pan buttons do nothing. Everything else is working. Would having those...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

It seems I deleted the FIFO for raspimjpeg. How do I re-create? After I repair that I will look at FIFO_pipan Also, should the user be root for both FIFO's? Should pipan.php and pipan.js be root? What directory should they be in? I have FIFO_pipan, pipan.php, pipan.js in /var/www rc.local in /etc pi...

pi-pan errors

Keep getting these errors. (see attached jpeg) I had RPi Cam Web Interface working fine. Then I also installed my RTC DS1307 pcb.Working fine. Then I installed my pi-pan. Starting to have problems, I believe, with a conflict of the i2c interface. RTC and pi-pan led are on this bus. Removed the RTC p...

Re: Streaming Raspberry Pi Camera H264 into HTML over RTMP

I can confirm the 6 sec delay as well - did anyone figure out yet where this is coming from? btw/ I had the same 6 sec delay when using the VLC method. How far away from your router? Testing mine 3 feet away gives me a 2 second delay. I would imagine a lot has to do with the quality of your wifi si...

Re: Streaming Raspberry Pi Camera H264 into HTML over RTMP

Don't use any port. Just type "myipaddress/myvideostream" in the browser address bar. You can add the "http://" and ".html" if you want, but they're not necessary. Note that, as jacksonliam pointed out, your .html file and the jwplayer folder must be in your /var/www/ directory. Working now, using ...

Okay, almost there. I start the camera on the pi and see the video on the pi's monitor. On my pc, I type my pi's ip address. All I am seeing is the index.html file below; "It works! This is the default web page for this server. The web server software is running but no content has been added, yet." W...

Reseat both ends of camera cable, reboot

[email protected] ~ $ raspivid -t -9999999 -w 960 -h 540 -fps 25 -b 500000 -vf -o -
'd[email protected]p&[email protected] ~ $

Before and after the d and after the p (in the above line) the screen actually shows squares with 0001, 001F, and 0012 inside them, respectably.
