Re: The Manchester Grammar School - What we're up to

<t>Welcome to the Forum and a big thumbs up for going out of your way to post and also to help the kids at school.  I'm new to the forum and have a little experience a long time ago of Pascal and Basic so can't help too much with language choices or SCRATCH.<br/> <br/> However, for me, coding and ma...

Re: Raspberry Pi Playing Cards

Very nice, I think the RPi team is rather busy at the moment so I wouldn't be disheartened, cards look very good to me.   Hmm perhaps I can used the Pi as a dedicated online poker playing machine....

I might have to get in touch about some custom cards for my poker night

Re: 2012: Year of the coder

<r>Well I'm giving it a go and have done the first 3 lessons.  I've not programmed since the 80's (Basic on the Vic-20 ) and 90's (Pascal at university).  So after an 18 year gap it's time to have another go.<br/> <br/> I'll probably try and Supplement it with <URL url="http://www.projecteuler.net">...
