Correct. The Pi is too long which is why I will either have to find an alternative or else put my dremel into action !! It will fit with the right modifications :-)

CSI Camera + Pi + Waterproof Housing

So I was thinking that maybe I could modify a gopro housing or similar to house a Pi / CSI Camera and a battery pack for some underwater video shooting.

My only concern is the heat generated cooking the contents of the case. What do others think ?

well from what I read, things like routers and laptops can autosense and work with a cable.

I am guessing (because I havn't been able to get it to work) that because it didn't work for me it may need one. But I will give it another go.

wifi > ethernet bridge is what i am after.

On osx you can share your airport connection (via the ethernet socket). You need a crossover cable though. for osx its system preferences > sharing > internet sharing. then share from your airport to your ethernet connection. Absolutely, just to make people aware.

The initial RS order said estimate of 40 odd days to receive , actually received it within 2 weeks. Parcelforce delivery was quick as well.

I wondered if when they go on sale they will be available locally (ie pickup and pay from Cambridge), I live just up the road from Cambridge so if there are any launch events planned where we can turn up, pay and go that would be great.
