Re: Where to buy in London?

frikosal, I remember a wonderful one in Moscow with nixie tubes... You would't happen to know the name of that shop, or the address or approximately where it is? No.. I'm sorry.. A friend of mine from Moscow took me there. It was a very nice place but by no means cheap. I guess I arrived too late t...

BitWizard display

Hi, I'm trying to use the SPI BitWizard display with keypad, http://www.bitwizard.nl/wiki/index.php/User_Interface#SPI All I got from it after many tests is the initial message "SPI_rpi_ui 1.6 A: 94" For instance, the command to clear the lcd, bw_tool -I -a 94 -r 16 -v 0 reports can't open...

Re: RPI for Billiards Trajectory Tracking

Very interesting project ! Do you think you will be able to correct the distortion of the fish eye ? Maybe you could begin with a special setup, with the light on a higher position to avoid all this trouble and begin capturing images ? Perhaps after you will find a wider FOV lens or another camera. ...

Re: writing to i2c in C ?

Thanks for your help !
I was trying to talk with a MCP23017 chip, then I found that the wiring library already does it very good :)
But I'll save your answers for other i2c devices.

Re: 3D OpenGL games?

But the idea of the packages systems is that if you can install the software, then it runs (except maybe some minor bugs).
Don't you think that for the codes that don't run, the package should be removed to avoid confusing the users ?

Re: RAW output information

Well, it is not yet user friendly or quite complete but we do have the basic raw file format decoded, that is what raspiraw does and what the first image in my previous post demonstrates. The drawback is that so far, the color tuning has not been done (outside Broadcom's closed doors, at any rate) ...

Re: RAW output information

RAW output and manual setting of exposure time would open a lot of very interesting applications !!!
If I understood the previous messages, the situation right now is that the camera can generate RAW files but there is no way (yet) to decode them ? Are then the JPG files generated by the camera ?

Re: 3D OpenGL games?

I think I'm a bit confused.
As I understand, there are many packages that depend on OpenGL and these packages can be installed in Raspbian, but then they don't work and it is not easy to fix them. Is it so ?

Re: 3D OpenGL games?

If I understand, it seems that there are many raspbian packages that depend on opengl, and aren't working. Is it so ?
Can you please explain me what is the problem ?
