Re: Using reset p6 header to keep pi off

Thank you guys for responses. I'd rather do software than hardware so arduino should be the easiest option. Consumption now is few hundreds mA with wifi and camera over night, so def better if it would be just cca 15mA instead. I was looking for really simple circuit to act just like relay controlle...

Using reset p6 header to keep pi off

I have raspberry pi powered from battery and solar panel and it needs to be on only in daylight, so i would like to use arduino to sense the daylight and if it would be dark arduino will ground the p6 header to "p...

Re: New features for raspistill command

I merged in to my codebase, but that not yet synced up with the userland codebase (I did development using Eclipse on my own git repo), I'm going to have to move to the userland git to make the process more streamlined. So will be a few days. If you want feedback, you are in the wrong place, I'm to...

Re: New features for raspistill command

I haven't tried this, so maybe my syntax is wrong, but I am thinking of something like: <html><head>Current Events</head><body> Here is what it looks like now! <img src="NOW.jpg"> </body></html> ...and meanwhile, a script is running to write alternate files and then swap the "NOW" link to it: #!/bi...

Re: New features for raspistill command

That would my exec parameter will solve, but I don't know why Jamesh doesn't want that feature include. You would call the script after the take and move picture to place from where it would be served. Why do you think I don't want it included - I merged your patch in today! Because of no reaction ...

Re: raspistill timelapse after disconnecting network cable

You have to use nohup command, because when ssh session timedout, it will terminate commands that you run over ssh

Code: Select all

nohup raspistill -o a%04d.jpg -t 21600000 -tl 30000 > /dev/null 2>&1 &
That will work after ssh sesion will expire

STICKY: New features for raspistill command

Is there a place where some new features could be suggested? I would love to have these two features for raspistill command: Crop parameter : given area (x/y) would be cropped, like digital zoom to specified area example (like convert command from imagemagick) raspistill --crop WIDTHxHEIGHT+OFFSETX+...
