wanted graphics card

hey all.looking to resurect an old system.cleaned everything,set up went to plug in monitor,mobo doesnt have onboard video.
i would like to purchace either a pci(not pci e) or agp graphics card.i have money waiting and can pickup from manchester and surronding areas.

sorry to reup an old topic but i realy dont know where to ask.from reading above you seem like a tech savvy person.i am from the 0161 area and am having trouble tracking down a pci (nox pci e) or an agp graphics card.i would to redurect an old system but it has no onboard graphics.have money waiting...

very strange because my 32gb card is still ticking along fine!all i can suggest is to google for sd formatter(free sortware) and use that before trying again.also for the ebay link above,why 5 pounds more for xmbc?haha £35 quid fo a 32gb card just because its got an OS on it?cant wait till full on 1...

i couldnt see the file specified i then ran cd /boot then ls -F and it says the file is config.txt.txt (notice the secont .txt extention). am i right in thinkin i cannot rename this file and expect it to take effect on the fly?

i have applied the overclock via editing config.txt i had this running at 800mhz for 24h+ and decided to go a bit futher.i set arm_freq=800 to read arm_freq=1000 and have had no problems at boot and is happly downloading torrents as we speak,i was wondering if there is any way of actualy reading the...

edited kernel_emergancy.img to kernel.img and got it too boot but seems to stick at

"sda 0:0:0:0: [sda] no caching mode page present

sda 0:0:0:0: assuming drive cache:write through

sda 0:0:0:0: attached SCSI remoable disk"

and thats it!

Tbh i asked for instructions on another thread and one guy has it going.he said that to do it you would need the latest kernal from github but im a bit stumped lol i think the thread is pie doa.keep me updated if you find out anything mate
