I think if there could be problems and i really dont have any avail of it, cause this device wont need a fan, i think ill let it be.

I'm wondering if you can plug an old CPU-Fan (12V) into the 5V GPIO-port?

Its 12V, 0.8W and around 60mA...

It would be just for fun, cause i know the r-pi doesnt need a cpu-fan.

But do you think its possible?

Its not bad but I think it has too many details.

The raspberries seem to be real, I think you can´t easily use it in other colors and/or resolution.

okay, i think vladheds post is what i was looking for, but thanks ShiftPlusOne too. If the "Kiosk" wont work ill try your version, but I think Kiosk seems to be easier.

I just install a normal Ubuntu or Debian or whatever, install the programm, and then create this file with a textdata in it that contents what Robin said? :O

Hey guys I just saw that there is a german version of the rpi-wikipage, called De:test, but its not completly translated. Should/Could I do this and post the result here in the forum, so someone could upload it in the wiki? Or is somebody working on it?

I agree with you a chat would be great. It´s not that important if its an IRC or Java or whatever, if its easy to use, and you can use your normal accounts from the forum.

Mhh... maybe a mouse would be hard to handle... but what about a keyboard (i mean the pcs one^^)?!
You have got a lot of space (or can easily expand it) and you can use one with a trackball in it.
But think that the mouse would be better if it works. :)
