Hello guys. Hello people! I have an idea: 1. Set an alarm (for example 8.00 am) via your webbrowser (for example http://192.168.1.2/alarm). 2. When the alarm goes off, some GPIO pins should turn on (to turn on some things). 3. You can add multiple alarms I have no idea how i should do this. Can you guys help me...

What do i have to do if i don't want to include shairport (I'm an Android user)? Just skip that part? Or are there any usefull command lines in it?

I will. Looking forward to it. I'm going to make one for myself. This is my first pi project and was thinking about something like this anyway. I only need a nice battery pack to power my Pi. Hope this is possible.

To drive passive car speakers, you will need an amplifier as well. Maybe you have that but forgot to mention it. Software volume control on the analog out of the Pi reduces the bitdepth.
