Discontinued. There wasn't enough demand for it.

Re: Meet Raspberry Pi Zero: the $5 computer

I have seen on a couple of websites that the Zero is a 'special edition' or 'limited run', is there any truth to this?

Thanks everyone, we had just over 700 unique visitors to our site today. We hope we'll be of some use to you!

Aside from our code formatter playing up, our launch went pretty smoothly. :)

Re: Fantasy RPi 2 spec (what's yours?)

For a revision of this board, I'd really like it if the connectors were on one side, or at least not all 4! I think (I'm no expert) that the micro USB could be rotated 90 degrees, as could the ethernet socket. Maybe even the pair of USBs? If all of them could be moved to the one side, it'd be fantas...

Added to my favourites list :D One thing though, you may want to ask Liz if it's okay to use the RPi logo. I believe its use is reserved for official sites? Glad you like it. As bel...

The Pi User

Hi all, You may (or may not) remember me floating the idea of a magazine throwback website; I think it was probably forgotten and dwarfed by some of the other excellent fan sites. Anyway, we've launched our site today and have posted our first tutorial (of many!). We'll see how it goes and we're ope...

<t>One thing to note, The Pi User is in no way a business, nor are we making any money from the site!<br/> <br/> It's just a fan based website for the Raspberry Pi, inspired by The Micro User magazine of many years ago. The company that ran The Micro User has long since shut down and the managing ed...

<r>Hi all,<br/> <br/> Thanks for the replies, it's all a bit hectic for me at the moment! I've taken what you've said on board, and tried a different Wordpress theme. This time I've gone with something very minimalist so there's nothing to detract from the content. We have about interested 8 contrib...

<r>Hi all,<br/> <br/> I've set up a project site called 'The Pi User', it's sort of a throwback to 'The Micro User' for all you old nostalgic types (I'm 22 but I'm sure I remember reading them somewhere!).<br/> <br/> The aim is to have articles, project logs and tutorials about the Pi, all light hea...

<t>I believe the foundation have said elsewhere they won't be doing anything illegal to help people avoid customs tax. For instance, the value stated will be the value of the items, and they won't mark packets as gifts. This is all in the aid of not breaking the law and not getting shut down, which ...
