I work in a school so am surrounded by VGA monitors. In fact it’s all I have access to there. How can you check the warranty bit ? I searched the forums but couldn't find a way. Hi Guys, I was trying to install gcc-4.7 which went fine but then it wasn't being picked up by running just gcc as it was still reporting 4.6. To try and get around this i removed apt-get remove gcc4.4 and apt-get remove gcc-4.4 That still didn't do the trick so i reinstalled gcc 4.4 and 4.6 but now...

Have you tried going back to basics with a freshly imaged SD card and then running apt-get update && apt-get upgrade then applying your license key. Also what are you using to make the changes to your config.txt file. If you use nano via ssh you should be able to cut and paste into the nano to avoid...

Have you tried leaving It unplugged a decent amount of time In case it's the polyfuse which has tripped.

If they need flash then they won't work.

I'd recommend you take a backup of the SD card with windiskimager before upgrades, just do a read instead of write. I know it's easy to get complacent when doing upgrades but it only takes a few minutes to do and in this instance would have saved you a lot of grief.

I've just had a quick thought with the space issue mentioned in this thread as well, i'm using a 8GB SD card but the image is only setup to use 2GB so i wonder if it was just that the bigrefocus would have taken up too much space so wasn't able to apply. I'm going to do some digging as i've got the manual for the boiler in a drawer. I'll be replacing the thermostat and using the temp from that combined with timings to dictate the on/off times but it's the actual interfacing which puzzles me. I'll post back here with some details and maybe a printout...
