htop missing info (colours)

Hi, I've seen this a few times, but never looked at resolving it. Whenever I run htop I'm missing text from the bars at the top and the owner of the process. This morning I kind of needed to see it so looked at the settings and changing the colours does bring the text in (it seems to be the grey tex...

Yeah I'd agree with you on that one. [email protected] ~ $ sudo su - [email protected]:~# raspistill -o /run/shm/img.jpg -t 0 [email protected]:~# ls -ltrh /run/shm/ total 156K -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 154K Jul 3 01:31 img.jpg [email protected]:~# exit logout [email protected] ~ $ sudo su www-data $ raspistill -o /run/shm/img.jpg -t 0...

Re: GPIO RISING and FALLING

Thanks for both replies. I've had a look at the link, and yeah that will be useful. I've tried to work around it for now, but really not sure if it's me needing sleep or what, I've adjusted the code to be def alert(channel): global alerts print "Alert # : ", alerts, "GPIO", GPIO.input(channel) if GP...

Re: Apache2 and Python to call raspistill

I'm fairly sure when I was testing the camera I had to make sure the apache user (www-data I think on the PI) was in the correct group to use the camera (video again I think).

Code: Select all

sudo adduser www-data video
Then restart apcahe

GPIO RISING and FALLING

Hi, I've just started playing with the GPIO and Python, I've put together the following code #!/usr/bin/python import time import RPi.GPIO as GPIO GPIO.setwarnings(False) GPIO.setmode(GPIO.BOARD) GPIO.setup(26, GPIO.OUT, True) GPIO.setup(23, GPIO.OUT, False) GPIO.setup(24, GPIO.IN) alerts=0 def aler...

Re: RaspberryPi hangs after keyboard use, etho no ip.

Thought I'd update just incase it can help anyone else. I went to charge my phone, after 3 hours on charge it hadn't increased just stayed on the same % as when I'd first plugged it in. So I plugged the cable into the PC to change the phone instead of the adapter, and the PC kept saying that the dev...

Re: RaspberryPi hangs after keyboard use, etho no ip.

Something I didn't think of doing was installing RaspBMC. So I've just done so. I haven't seen so many errors shooting up a screen for a while. It seems to boot, get's a DHCP address (and I can see the request on the server too), it wait 8 seconds to configure the network (unsure why). continues boo...

RaspberryPi hangs after keyboard use, etho no ip.

Hi Guys, I have a bit of a weird one, that I'm hoping for suggestions on. I have a number of PI's running around the house (mainly RaspBMC), I purchased 5 middle of Feb and have only just got around to using them. So far I've opened 2 and they've both given me the same issue. I'm running 2013-02-09-...

Re: Twonky on Raspbian

Thanks to the previous posters. I've been trying for a few days without any luck. Find below the steps for the latest version of the Twonky 6.x.x branch. I've tested and it works with the latest image. mkdir /usr/local/twonkymedia/ cd /usr/local/twonkymedia/ wget http://www.twonkyforum.com/downloads...

Re: Dialler

I would definitely be interested in connecting up a modem to pickup the caller ID.
