Awesome.
Any idea whether this fixes the problems with some of the games (i.e. Mario All Stars)?

Yes, with a multi-tap. You just have to enable multi-tap support somewhere in the code.

Re: My experience getting Emulationstation up and running

I've struggled for some hours with the input_exit_emulator_btn command, and I can't figure it out. In the config I have enable_hotkey_btn set to the same as my start button, and the input_exit_emulator_btn set to the same as my select button (I use a SNES style USB-controller) but somehow it won't ...

We don't even have N64 emulation to this point. SNES emulation is still hit and miss. PS2 ain't happening.

Re: RetroArch Emulator Frontend

I have still been unable to figure out the distortion that appears when using the Pi's stereo jack. I am working on building an emulator machine using a gutted NES and I was hoping to be able to use the original outputs on the system, but oh well. I did, however, test the HDMI output and everything...

Re: PiSNES released - Super Nintendo emulator

Jbaker1225 Does your Mario all stars work with any other emulators on the raspberry pi It worked with RetroArch with the pocketsnes core, but the controls inexplicably switched to the second player controller after you selected a game. So I guess both emus have a weird glitch once you choose your g...

Re: RetroPie Setup - Auto-installer/updater for RetroArch ga

I know this doesn't answer your question exactly as written, but I'll share what I did with my RPi NES mod. I picked up one of these: http://mausberrycircuits.com It's a little circuit with an on/off toggle switch. I then had the toggle switch desoldered, and soldered in the power wires from the NES...

Re: PiCloner - SD Backup Tool for OSX

So I'm in a bit of a predicament... I had several permission denied attempts to run PiCloner, so last night I cloned the app and ran it in admin mode as suggested in a post above. Finally, it looks like it started working. However, the progress bar never moved at all, but I figured I'd just wait. It...

However, I redirected EmulationStation to launch my ROMs in SNES9X. And when I do, everything works perfectly, except the controls have reverted back to the default settings, without my custom mapping. Any idea why this is I'll put a fix in for this. And I'll add an option to stretch the video. Awe...

Powered USB hub that is powered by USB?

I'm completely new to most of this, so forgive me if any of the following are dumb questions... I'm looking for a powered USB hub that can be powered via USB. Your example is correct (though I think you're missing a slash at the start of the path), this should work. COMMAND=pushd /usr/local/bin/indiecity/InstalledApps/pisnes/Final && snes9x %ROM% && popd So I did this (changing /Final to /Full because that's the actual directory... And I get the followin...

Re: PiSNES released - Super Nintendo emulator

I would guess that the config file is being read relative to the current working directory. One way to fix that would be to change the CWD as part of the launch command: COMMAND=pushd path/to/snes9x/folder && path/to/snes9x %ROM% && popd Great thanks. I'll give that a go when I get home. Would I ne...

Re: PiSNES released - Super Nintendo emulator
