Re: OpenELEC meets Raspberry Pi - part 1 (XBMC)

@intraclast can you confirm the mAh output of your power supply (should be printed on it) im guessing its 500mA, needs to be at least 700mA but suggested to have 1000mA (1A). If you do have 700mA+ it could be a poor power supply so try a few others Failing that it could be a faulty board (unfortunat...

Re: OpenELEC meets Raspberry Pi - part 1 (XBMC)

Ive been using these builds with a 32" 720p TV with no problems however when I connected it up to my 42" 1080p TV it really struggles and video is unwatchable, tried to change the resolution to 720p on the Pi but just give a really small image on the TV and theres no option on the TV to do anything,...

Same here, network MySQL database doesn't work, it creates a copy of myvideo61 in myvideo63 but no library in the gui. Don't feel like rebuilding my whole database again tonight to see if a fresh one works so will see if it is fixable. Luckily I used a fresh card so back to R10995 for my evenings v...

Thanks Rob, worked a treat The new Image posted doesnt work for me when using mysql for the database, for some reason any XBMC version that creates/looks at Video63 for its database doesnt work (both OpenELEC and XBMC directly) I did some test of the nightlies and everyone that used a database other...

Re: OpenELEC meets Raspberry Pi - part 1 (XBMC)

Does anyone know how to postpone the initial boot for 2-3 seconds? I use a remote power switch to turn on my 4 gang socket which powers the TV and Pi however the Pi boots before the TV and therefore doesnt think the HDMI is connected (im guessing), with the debian image it works fine so there must b...

Hey, Im currently on 10942 and when ever I put the advancedsettings.xml file in userdata and boot up it just slows it right down and doesnt seem to want to connect (no librarys showing) I was on Samba and moved to NFS (what a pain that was) but still happening, same advancedsettings file works fine ...

Re: Freedomotic Home Automation on Raspberry

Got it to run (needed to install Java) seems ok, takes quite a while to load and the CPU is maxed out all the time (even after 5mins and me not doing anything)

Hope that helps!

Will give it a try when I get home

Your project looks interesting but expensive, obviously not from your software side but from hardware, i havent read fully into it yet (will do later though) but seems it would mean rewiring alot of the house to get this working
