Any chance of adding [Solved] to the reporting list?
The current list items clearly don't cover the situation and it feels a bit strange reporting your own topic using the present options. ;)

Re: Can boot to HDMI but no video output for composite on TV

Thanks again Richard. I have managed to open and alter what I think are the appropriate settings. I have removed the hash from the line containing sdtv_mode=2. Although there is already a hash against the line containing hdmi_force_hotplug=1 I notice it is also contained in the auto generated settin...

Re: Can boot to HDMI but no video output for composite on TV

Thanks Richard, I had used the right shift key previously but the left shift key now gives me the Noobs installation screen again on the TV showing Raspbian is installed but the Edit config is greyed out. If I de-select all OS the only option is exit which appears to boot Raspbian again but still wi...

Can boot to HDMI but no video output for composite on TV

Having checked the sticky on 'no video' I decided to switch to HDMI output on ...

Re: RaspBerry Pi(e) Model C (imaginations & wants)

I guess we naturally drift away from the original vision of an affordable entry into coding for youngsters, and I admit I am not immune since it appeals to me as a prototyping platform. Having said that there is obviously a fine balance between size, features and low cost - so please don't move too ...

Re: Feasibility to connect and access multiple rs232 data fe

I'm only in the exploratory stages as I don't yet own an RPi. For my application I need (somehow) to interpolate 4 pairs of TTL or serial data, Re Linux code I came across this a few minutes ago looking for barcode interpretation - don't know if it will be of any use to you but here it is http://fre...

Re: Feasibility to connect and access multiple rs232 data fe

How feasible is it to convert between RS232 and USB to achieve this?
Some of the devices I would like to connect have TTL, RS232 or USB output (e.g. barcode engines) and is there a practical limit to the number of connectable USB ports?
