Hi,
Did these changes ever merge with Darkplaces?

If not, could you please release the source?

Re: LED CPU Meter (GPIO)

That would be really useful for me also! So I see that you can find out info from ,what , text files? Correct me if I am wrong! I am struggling to connect things, internally and then externally... Like make an LED flash when I have a new email etc etc etc. Thanks and your project looks good! ;) Hey...

Re: LED CPU Meter (GPIO)

Do You know how to do this in Python? Thanks No idea, I don't have a decent understanding of python I'm afraid. The wiringPi library is provided for python aswell so I'm not sure if it'd be much different as there's nothing C-specific here. The workflow is pretty simple -> Initialise wiringPi and G...

LED CPU Meter (GPIO)

Hey there, not sure if this has been done before or whether this is the right forum (there's so many here now!) To get to grips with GPIO, I created a small LED meter for total CPU usage on the pi. Sharing's caring, so I chose to throw it up here so other people can perhaps benefit from it. It depen...

Only downside seems to be the reliance on Royal Mail. They've nicked my packages several times before, run by a bunch of lowbrow thieves!

On the subject of Elite, I wonder if Mr Braben is aware of the Pioneer project? http://pioneerspacesim.net/ As far as I know it should run, as it uses OpenGL ES.

Both models will have 2 host ports. You won't be able to power either via USB.

The Model A has two ports now?

<r>Not really a fan of having to connect to another server just for raspberrypi, considering freenode is great for projects such as this. For something a little more lightweight and can be easily suited to the users tastes, what about openbox? Add a tint2 panel and a conky config and you're good to go!

USB mic should be fine. It'd be really great to have a raspberry pi setup as a speech handling node connected to a bunch of relays, so I can finally nerd out and go 'Computer, Lights on!'
