Re: 1.5" ILI9163 lcd screen working

I have this LCD: https://www.dipmicro.com/store/LCD-NOKIA5110-RGB It uses the ILI9163C driver which led me to this post. I am trying to get the Python program posted above working but am confused by the mapping of the LCD pins and the config in the following code: # GPIO numbers (BCM) for data lines...

Re: DHT22 Sensor

Have a look at our tutorial on DHT22. We're using Adafruit's code without any problem. I'd check two things: 1. make sure that all the pins of the DHT22 are correctly wired and you are using 10k resistor between pins 1 and 2 of the DHT22 (as per the diagram in the tutorial, also attached). 2. make s...

Re: Temperature Program

It's a pull up resistor. Refer the datasheet link at the bottom of this page:

Re: Source code to w1-therm?

Thanks jjackowski, you solved the problem. :D

I found the offending hard coded pin for one-wire in arch\arm\mach-bcm2708\bcm2708.c

// use GPIO 4 for the one-wire GPIO pin, if enabled
#define W1_GPIO 4

Why do people hard code things - really!!??

Re: Source code to w1-therm?

Hi feverish,

I've seen that tutorial before, and find it very good, but it doesn't answer the question. Having followed the link from your reply I noticed an email address at the top and have emailed the author. I'll let you know if I get a reply.

Source code to w1-therm?

Does anyone know where I can get the source code for the w1-therm program that polls GPIO 4 that is interface to a 1 wire Dallas DS18B20 temperature sensor? I want to be able to change the GPIO port it uses. Alternatively if anyone know how to change the GPIO port, that will also do the trick. Thanks
